EDIT: Not in a JP kind of way.

I thought I was going to die from all the jizz filling my ears.

That and if the nut comes loose on the back have fun drilling the bolt out.

I mean, When you go do put a screw in what do you naturally do? You apply slight pressure to the fastener which half of thee time pops the damn thing off inside the box. After my experience I would not use them myself.

What about some type of strap, doa loop to two sub holes so you can actually pull up on the top of the face and pull them out easily(easier then no straps). I mean some clean nylon webbing type strap, maybe hide in gasket or something? Just a thought, we use them on our motocross bikes to make grabbing and lifting easier.

More i think about it, idk how you would attach to the basket...

Could you epoxy the t nut in?? never used them so dont have any experience but would that work to keep it from popping out with pressure?

My issue is more with lining up with them... I've had it where 1 or 2 where just barely off and couldn't use them. Pissed me off lol

You could but if you get any on the threads then your probably back to square one. And that don;t solve the misalignment issues. I know it's user error but without a floating drill press it's not easy getting them perfect.

My bitch about T nuts is spinning them on the back side of the baffle. It's NOT fun holding a woofer, especially one as heavy as an SP4 up while trying to get a screw lined up. That's a LOT of weight and a very good chance to puncture a surround.

I had a pair of subs using T nuts and I spun ONE nut, and it ruined my day. I twisted the basket pulling on the sub, got pissed, dropped the sub, the motor shifted, I then THREW THE SUB 15ft-ish and finished the job. It all started over a little T-nut...

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
