Kyblack76 Posted July 12, 2013 Author Report Posted July 12, 2013 Damn man that looks smooth.. Spanks my friend. Ill go ahead now, and say it. WIth a filler/bondo agent, you get what you pay for. Period. Also, you need a proper technique for sure, but, the proper shit goes A LONG way. I wish i would have tried SONUS's stuff (sorry mods if that plug is not cool) and even some sunflash from here. Im seeing more and more, the proper tool/product is worth its weight in copper (the new gold) Im makin a new batch to do the angle as i type.... And, i have all the confidence in the world now.. tacomaguy1 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 What did ray say about the amount of hardener.....the way you lay it down definately helps. Makes sanding even easier Team Flex Issues

CleanSierra Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Yeah id be so curious to see about that SONUS filler too, its supposed to be ULTRA light weight. Kyle, you're doing so fucking awesome for a first timer man, you really are. So my knockdown methods are as follows: 36 grit to knock down the ridiculous high spots followed by 80 for quite some time. Once you start to see the appearance of feathering, you can switch over to 220 grit. Make quite a few passes with the 220 it will take out the majority of your sand scratches, and then follow with 400. Some guys will go all the way down to 600 to prep for paint, but I use a high build primer and it fills the remaining scratches. If you go to lay more filler, you can stop at the 80 or 220 stage. I go 220 to really see WHAT I have left and really zero in on my low and high spots. I told that stuff would apply and sand like a dream. I wish I had been there to show you how to apply the catalyst, so you didn't waste too much. Depending how much you mix at one time, usually a quarter sized glob of hardener will give you a good result. I'm glad to see the port wall looking tits man, it really does. Keep it up fucker, balls to to wall. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
COLTON94 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 So does the rear end sag any now that uv got the wall built?
