my question is this....Did you have a 2nd port that was tuned higher?...your design is poor, the removeable port is not designed correctly, I mean you have what looks like a 4inch section of the box that is on 3sides of the port, these are the voids N8 was referring to...

I would agree with the Port up not as good, I am running port up but that is due to limits on height and depth requiring me to port up....

why are you wanting to use 12" aeroports?...other than wow factor?

I mean hell your running 4 18s for Christ's sake, why not wall the bitch!

Some people you don't need a meter to tell you they are loud. Scott bowman is an example. Anyone's ear o meter in his truck pretty much says "get out of the fucking truck idiot, its loud" at least mine did.... 162db isn't fun, it just hurts. I think it stops being fun after high 150's. not sure if it makes me less of a bass head if I say that 155< becomes less and less fun to sit in.

Fiberglassing gives the box more strength ? I've always thought it was the opposite., and that FG was good to seal the enclosure and for the ease of airflow.

How can people ask questions and refuse to follow the answers they get from mods and experts ? SMH :(

I want to know how loud it is on the meter.. U say u hav 12k rms so it should be doing at least a 154 ... An ear o meter don't mean squat multiple times I thought my system was louder .. I'm sure your tuning changed which either made it louder or just sound better .. Stop being an arse to bro .. Everyone was just trying to help .. No need for that

I changed my setup and was audibly louder.

Metered it and I was 3db quieter.

Ear-o-meter will lie to you.
