but the dash cae out pretty good, not perfect but decent. It was perfect before I had paint issues and had to go back an fix it...but oh well its better in different ways and I'm moving on.

Well not much of an update but got started on the new console but its not finished so Not worth posting many pics till its a little closer to finished...I will say this took like 4 hours to just get what we did done lol! Soo many damn angles to line up geeze, but will be worth it should come out better than the last little more functional and easier to instal...bit of a puzzel piece but I think it should pay off!

ok guys I'm just throwing this out there because its not all that crucial to figure out now but later down the road I have to figure this out, and for now I have to know whats going to happen because it will determine placment of "stuff"

So my rear seats....before I had 2 captain chairs in the front and 2 in the rear...but because I added a third battery rack I dont have the clearance that I used to for that so I have to change up the seat situation, here are my options and I think they might be better than my last set up anyway if I can get them to work.

so this is the original 60/40 split bench from the rear of this truck normally on the passenger side so I'll have to make some mods to get it to work, also I'll have to locate another one.

I like the way it folds down because I can keep it down when its just 2 people and it lets the port breath nicely, even when its up the port has better access than with the captains.

cons: I would have get creative fore seat belts because these arent built in, not too bad butwould be an issur on passenger side

option two will need more fabrication be would work great as well

These are out of my moms 01 Yukon Denali, they are the removable third row, she hardley ever uses them(like MAYBE once a year) So we honestly could share them haha since I will rarely need them...anyway. They are going to take a bit of fabrication to get them to mount and dismount properly since they lock in insted of bolt in.

Pro's they are wider already nice matching leather each with built in seatbelt

also if I made proper brackts I can get the seats out in like 20 seconds or less haha

The new brackets would have to raise the seats up like 5-6 inches haha, these fit between the rear wheels in the yukon, I sat in it and my head can bearly see out the rear window lol...so fabrication will be a challenge but this may be my best option....this is not a pressing option because I want the rest of the system done before I worrie about getting these to fully work..but I have to know the will work.

I will say I am excited that I will be able to either fold down or fully remove seats because it makes life sooooooo much easier to access all my stuff, not using captains is going to be kind of a blessing, also I dont have to drill big ol' holes in my floor...always nice!

Why don't you go to a yard and locate some brackets from a junked out one, and weld them into the truck. Then you should be good to go. Instead of having to come up with a whole new frame and something complicated. Just a thought. I'm not sure how the mounting positions are, but worst case, you'll have to add a piece or two of stock under the sheet metal to attach to the frame.

haha naaah if I wall it that just puts me more in debt and further away from finishing the bitch lol! Also It's still a personal company truck so I'd like to make it loud but functional..If I can keep at least 4 seats I think that will accomplish both

as for the seat brackets I think I have a somewhat easy solution, just build a box frame that uses the factory seat studs to hold it to the truck and then weld some round stock on top of the box frame which the bottom of the seats latch to to lock in place...in theory simple, real life may be pain in the ass lol...either way these seats have to be raised off the floor like 6" because the way they sit now you cant even see out the windows because you sit so low

going to try and get the electrical to the point I can wire up the 360.3 this weekend and get going on finishing the mids and highs..hope so.

I want to get this close to finished before the 23rd or so this month so I can hand out some demo's at my family reunion haha, maybe I'll make a road trip out of it and hit up some other peeps...maybe!
