You've never been hit in a parking lot. It's park at your own risk and private property. The odds of a store cooperating are slim to none. But it would be better to do it on a passenger door so they drive off with it zip tied to the handle.

I used to work at Walmart even if they would be willing to play back the cameras most the stores that I've watched the cameras at don't see much past the first four or five spots in the parking lot beyond that you can't tell anything and also are they really that few people that carry some sort of Blade that would be able to cut the zip tie and not deal with it
