Ive been meaning to put this up for a while but havent got around to it. I ordered some battery terminals from CNF Distribution as well as more tech flex, SHCA heat shrink, and made a fuse block plate to just clean everything up under the hood.

Alright, so I know I have been talking about getting a Singer Alt for a while now. I had the money saved up about a month ago but then registration came so money went to classes and I also had to fix a couple problems on the car. Good new is though that with Christmas coming up I will have to money for the alt and have it ordered by the beginning of Janurary and will hopefully have it by the end of Feburary or March. The alt will either be a 240 or 270 amp alt. I will keep you guys updated.

I grabbed a sweet deal on some PWX 6's so those will be replacing the CZ mids. I am keeping the RTS-1 tweeters and might be getting another set to put in the doors as well. In order to fit the PWX's I need to make a few adjustments to the door fitting.

Difference btwn the CZ mid and the PWX

The bracket I need to modify

Template all laid out. Its 9pm now so cutting will have to wait till tomorrw. Hopefully I can have this done within a few days but with finals coming up Im not too sure.

If you have seen my door pod thread then you know I went a different route with the PWX's. I put two in each door and they are getting about 100w rms a piece. Here are just a few pics of the finished product. Click HERE to see the build log of the doors. There is also a video of them on the thread as well. Enjoy

Two weeks down, two more weeks (max) to go before my beautiful Singer alt comes in. Other things I have been thinking about doing is replacing my 1/0 power run with 1/0 SHCA OFC. There is at least one place in the run where I had to extend the wire and I don't like that. I want it to be one continuous piece. Also I'm thinking it might cause problems down the road. Another thing I'm thinking about is getting a bigger mids amp for those PWX's. Looking at a amp that wither does 400rms at 2 ohms to two channels or 200rms at 4 ohms to four channels. Right now my tweeters are just running off of HU power and I would like to put them on an amp as well but thats no big deal. Any suggestions on amps? I basiclly want 200rms going into each PWX and I have the 4 ohm ones.
