Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. BUT.... that just goes for the "PA" line. Pure has been working hard at getting solid products in their lineup. I have tested the new 'K' line of amps and they are fully legit. I bought 2, one of them burned up quickly listening to 670 the score before a bears football game on a nice Sunday morning. It took damn near a year for them to give me another.
