Pioneerchuck
If you plan on buying tire pressure sensors, you'll need to know what size tire you're going to be running and then take measurements to cover fitment. Youll also want to make room for squatting in the tire while driving, hitting bumps, etc to make sure the sensors dont get in the way. But in all honesty I doubt youll be able to fit a pressure sensor in a 28" tire.
SnowDrifter
Why do you even want tpms? Couple hundred bucks to tell you if your tire pressure is low? ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Karkov
Make sure you get some that you can program to your cars computer so you don't always get the tire pressure alarm, the light will just stay on. Maybe any of them can program to any vehicle, IDK. Would suck to get some and realize they don't work with your vehicle. I have them on my vehicle but never really use the ability to check them on the dash. Either a tire is gonna look low or the light will come on to tell me it's low, until either of them I'm not too worried. BUT it is a kind of cool function so if you want them i am all for it bud. BTW replacement price for GM certified OEM ones or whatever for my vehicle was like $75 each or something like that when I asked. mbdblue
with a 28" wheel, it's most likely gonna be a low profile tire. I doubt a pressure sensor will fit. Broke_Audio_Addict
They sell adapters to use tpms sensors with low profile tires. Kinda pricey for what they are though. http://www.tpmssolution.com/tpmsinstall.pdf That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. mbdblue
of course they would....should have assumed....Then again, I also stereotype people who use there tpms wouldn't actually work on their cars..... I agree with you on that. I find no need to have a tpms because I actually check my tire pressure often. But It would be rather annoying if the light is on constantly because the sensor is removed. SnowDrifter
@OP why do you want a TPMS installed? It really is easier to check your tire pressure once a month. Stop into sears or something. They do it free ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
