Strapped, unstrapped= same load. No difference at all. Just easier to set gains and stuff strapped.

It's not really a Higher impedance each amp is still seeing the 1 ohm load. It's not more efficient.

I run my amps unstrapped...

If you end up running them unstrapped make sure you get some Y splitters for your rcas that run to the back. DO NOT use amp #1 rca out to connect amp #2.

They are dual 1.4 subs. Reason I thought about running each gain matched is to run em each at .7

if yall have instagram you can see what one does at .7 on 1 2500. In a ram designs box. Sounds pretty good an ive had it about a month in there. My name is stevied225 for instagram

Efficiency is one reason.

Two is splitting impedence rise.

Three.is amps do strange shit strapped alot of times

Four. In almost every case where you can achieve the same load strapped vs un strapped the unstrapped has been louder on a meter.

Its not even close to the same thing. Its.also not a higher load. They both still would see the same load in the end. The only thibg is irs easier to set up. But if you tske athe extra ten minutes its worth it to me to run them unstrapped. The only advantage of strapping is ifyou need to get to lower impedence for competition in my opinion
