boom50cal Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 Going to look nasty with the new wheels and rubber....Do fords have issues with with ball joints with that big of a spacer in the front ? i actually bought 3 inch blocks for my truck then read it makes shit fail like crazy..Love the stance though !! not really sure. Upper and lower ball joints are on my list to replace. Upper control arms too, since they are pretty close. Getting all the mechanical/exterior done before I start the audio. Love the stance myself too, thanks bud. BMF Novakanes and Nitto TrailGrappler 33's are on the way. I could probably fit 35's with a little tweaking...but idk, 35's is a lot of tire for something that will see a trailer nearly every week. with a 3" level I had to replace the upper ball joints/control arms (cant just replace the ball joints) within 20k miles, its worth it though, only $100 and a hr or so to replace the uca's Yeah i didn't use mine. Went with them ranch level struts.i think mine ended up being 1.75 inches or so..Making sure boom knew to check his ride though, Didn't even think about the control arms.. Upper control arms are pretty close to the spring anyway. Gonna go aftermarket forsure. Or maybe some Raptor UCA's if I can find them for a decent price. Truck has 136k on it...it needs. Suprises the shit out of me how quiet the motor is though. EVERY 100k+ 3v ford mod motor I've been around is noisy as fuck.
