REVOofRustler
That's gnarly! Just picked these up from the powder coaters! Should look pretty nice once everything's back together. All the new timing components are in too. I'm just waiting on a couple bolts for the exhaust cam sprockets. They're torque to yield, so gotta replace them each time. I'm hoping the motor goes back in Sunday! I was also planning on gutting my pre cats while they were out. Went out and looked at them, and yep, they were already gutted lol. So now I'm thinking of gutting my main cats too. The tune I have ignores the rear o2 sensors, so I won't throw any codes without the cats. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz

We only have 92 up here in Washington (unless you drive an hour way), and I haven't had any issues with it. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz

S15_Silvia
Cruised the Hocking Hills today with some friends. 2x BRZ, Elise, Mustang GT, 2x S2000 (only one pictured). My car is surprisingly capable. Needs better tires and some lightweight wheels...coming next season. 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. S15_Silvia
The stock ECU tune on them is annoying. Massive torque valley around 4k RPM or something like that. The two pictured are tuned with coilovers/some supporting mods. 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. n8ball2013
What about the stock engine? They missed a chance to make a great car stock. But they didn't bother or completely missed what people who would buy that car would want. I agree, They are so underpowered it's silly, could have been a real bad ass car but they dropped the ball when it came to the engine. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. bcpballer64
Honestly I feel like all of the companies nowadays have been making some relatively wimpy cars compared to like the 90s. Like the 300zx tt, 3000gt vr4, gsx/gst eclipses, etc. Cars these days don't come from the factory with balls, they have potential, but they just quite aren't there yet. I agree with all of you that the brz had potential to be a monster but the did drop the ball with it "The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson)
