They just tell me the feeling of a FWD car while driving (steering wheel, clutch, overall feel) is a more "rush" to the driver then a RWD. but knows. I'm looking for a 86-91 5.0 manual but most I see are over 100,000k. And I heard old engines are bad to work on if they've been worn. At this point, would an engine swap be better or ride it until it gives. Yes this is why they drift the shit out of front wheel drive cars.......... Katt Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Well, as being a owner for both, a 92 civic and a 89 5.0, the mustang takes the cake. So much more fun to drive. Sounds awesome. Around here, fox body's arent too common. Dunno about there. But its all about preference on fwd / rwd. I wont go back fwd unless its for a snow vehicle. I like my burnouts lol. From family experience, the 302 is a strong motor / build block. And hear nothing but good things. Throw a higher lb injectors, and a supercharger on around 6-8lbs of boost and your good. Any higher you'd get into upgraded parts. Plus who doesnt wanna race the cocky camaro owners? Just sayin lol. now a 4 cyl honda motor, lots of money and upgrades to make it strong compared to a 5.0. And just the rasp sound. Ewh lol. I may be the only one whos here to give an opinion on your choice. But oh well lol. In the end, your choice your money. All we can do Is give opinions. shit, replied to the first page not 2nd lol. Some guys have to much "ford" pride to do that tho .. But yeah love them ! My cousin had 3 different 5.0s they are fun ! Literally, just about everything has been stuffed into a foxbody... LS motors, Ford Modular Motors, a few PowerStroke Diesels, Cummins diesels, 4g63 mitsu turbo motors, 2jz's, Rotary motors... Owned by a older guy, for like 3800. It sits in the garage now lol. Dad wants to do the upper and lower intake, heads, cam, also maybe forced induction. Jeep Cherokee 4dr -4.75 in front, new rusty's 4.5 in rear leafs -micky thompson 35x14.50x15 -locker rear -Rusty's offroad Engine/transmission/transfer case/crossmember/gas tank skid plates -Warn front bumper with 8000lb winch -Custom rear bumper -Warrior product tube doors (summertime) -Optima redtop (starter) -26XK miles and still runs like a bat out of hell Kenwood H/U 1/0 wire, 136 amp alt 200 ah batteries 12.7 daily 2 Apsm 1500 @ 2 ohm strapped on zv3 d1 with ns softparts Mb quart 125.4 wired to 4 aura 6's 3.6 cube box tuned to 36 plays down to 23hz
