if high frequency noise is the issue, why dont you guys just slide your speaker cables through a ferrite choke?

They come in tons of sizes and styles...

Wow seems like a inexpensive way to fix the noise problem. Anyone use these now on their car system?

they work great to fix alternator/engine noise as well..

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
