bbeljefe
If your intent is to monitor the voltage at your subwoofer amp you need to have the power input for the meter wired directly from the subwoofer amp's terminal. If you only care about general system voltage then you can get the signal from the head unit. I'd really like to know: Does it make a difference if the positive is on the amp but it's grounded at the headunit?.....Does the + and - need to be on the amp or just the + ? 97 Suburban 8 custom PSI Platform 3 18's

SnowDrifter
I used 14ga speaker wire for mine For what it's worth: Mine is 2 years old and working great. Your positive and negative should be at whatever you want to read from. Ideally from the same spot, so you eliminate voltage drop through grounds and don't give yourself a false reading. P4killer_
Ive had mine for like 5 years, just recently it leaves a digit stoll half lit or w.e even with the car off. I just disconnect and reconnect. No biggie. boom50cal
I used some sky high 14ga to run mine...a little overkill. Run a switch with the remote wire too. It's bright as fuck and a half. No sense in having it on say at night, when you're driving through a neighborhood without the volume turned down.
