Lay your seats down, grab a scuba suit and glass the entire trunk, Spot weld the trunk shut, throw 2 layers of mdf in where you folded the seat down and call it a day.

I have a little Honda civic can I do this please want to fit in two hdc4 15s I will even turn my back seat into a amp/battery rack lol hey look at that now I've got a walled trunk

You didn't listen to a word anyone said. Your shop is straight up robbing you

Dude I've been dealing with my local shop since age 16 why would I stop now and besides they're 5 more shops within 45 minute radius with ridiculous prices.

I understand that ignorance is bliss and all.. but god damn..

My experience with setups like this is that they never do well. To save yourself the trouble you could just build a box and put it on top of your seats and get roughly the same performance without removing the back seat.

My advice is to remove the seat and wall it. If that's too much just seal off from the trunk. It will save you from a disappointing setup that isn't designed for success.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

This.. Ignorance is bliss... And 90% of shops I've seen! I wouldn't let install tint on my car... Not less design and build my enclosure. Leave that for people who know what their doing.

Can we get a screening process for new members? Something like a questionnaire that would let us know if we are going to waste precious moments of our lives giving advice that will be promptly ignored. I don't want to see guys like N8ball, hdorre and Team HT to get to the point where they will quit sharing their experience and knowledge.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
