gckless
Too many factors to say for sure, but definitely has the possibility. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. hispls
No. And that sounds like an awfully small box for 18's.
ROLEXrifleman
if two 12's on 2k total can hit 150 then the potential is there. It's all on the install now Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
bighossf150
No. And that sounds like an awfully small box for 18's. Dc's are small box subs. I did a 51 with 2 psi build hdc3 18"s on an opti6k so it's definitely possible. Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
MaxVolume
if you have a chance, play with the meter before the competition, try things like seats forward, back, up, down center console open/closed glovebox open/closed sun visors up/down there's a thread on the SPL section I believe that has tons of these things to try after all if you can gain a few tenths here and a few tenths there....you're just getting closer to your goal... and the best part? that shit's FREE ....if you don't have to bribe the meter guy for time of course

jacobS
well, ended up doing a 145.8 at 41hz... i think it's due to the fact my port is a tad sufficating and my electrical isn't the best... but hell, atleast i got a meter on it! The meter guy did give me some time to see what was loudest, windows up/ down etc. still took first 1998 2 door tahoe Subs: 2 DC lvl4 18"s Mids/highs: nendo pwx 8" and 2 sets of 6.5" mezzo's Amps: hifonics 2500.1d & hifonics 1200.4 & RF 600.2 145.8 seald up in the kick.
