This battery is lithium iron phosphate (LiFe), which is much less volatile than the Lithium POLYMER (LiPo) posted above. LiFe is much much safer and won't explode and is much more tolerant of over/undercharging. Lots of pro airsoft people get disfigured when they overheat them since the battery is kept in the stock right next to your facehole 750??! Yeah, fuck that. A firecracker sized one is like.... a firecracker. Can you imagine one the size of a pipe bomb going off? It would be like.... probably a pipe bomb. I'd wager there's a boutique market for new styles of batteries where people are willing to take the risk for space/weight/discharge speed potential, but we're probably a little while out from these replacing our lead acid types.
