Maybe do a System of the Quarter in the mean time? And if the interest returns then maybe go back to Monthly? But I am sad to see it put on hold due to the fact I would love to get the banner under my name... But as you said it might return...

Imo it's slow cause it's winter time and most are rebuilding their systems to get ready for next season.

been slow for the last year.

Not sure which "season" you are referring to but this contest was never just for competition grade SPL machines...it is for every day people with basic to complicated sound systems and to recognize a quality install no matter the size. It has absolutely nothing to do with people rebuilding for dbdrag contests.

theres just too much activity going on on this forum that takes the attention from SOTM.. sometimes i don't even go to some lower sections because i'm just reading the recent posts.. maybe having the SOTM at the top would give it more attention.. even the supporting member section doesn't get any attention from anyone.. the only reason i remember there was SOTM contest was because of a resent post and the topic that was created for it
