soundstream15 Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 My amp draws 370a and I got 1 run of ofc so I need to add another run. I don't think 1 run is good enough if your pulling over 300a. Yet again, I only got a 170a alt but more wire=less resistance

Just my 0.02A dead ground from a battery or bank should go directly to frame or grounding point short run as possible.Say you have a better up front and one in the rear, you need a short ground to frame or grounding point on BOTH battery locations ... This cable is a larger diameter cable than the normal 1/0 cable ... which would be much easier than running multiple smaller cables in tight areas and have the same effect ... The confusion is that you're saying 2AWG, which is smaller than 1/0AWG, and you actually mean 2/0AWG, which is what you have in your truck and is bigger than 1/0AWG. You should do 2 runs at a minimum, depending on what wire you're using. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now.
