m0rtin
currently while listening to my system the bass "shorts out" on heavy bass songs or even when volume turned half way of max clean signal. im thinking its due to voltage drop?? my questions are: 1. will big 3 upgrade cause more stress on the stock battery/alternator from drawing more from it?? 2. will a true good 1 farad cap help with my voltage for short burst when it needs it? (even though i know a cap is like adding a band aid) 3. or even upgrading to a better car battery? i got 4 gauge wiring. just want a simple quick fix to be bumping loud again! Broke_Audio_Addict
The big 3 is not a cure all. I'd like more info as well, what do you mean it shorts out? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
