Well I got my stereo going, these poor subs are getting a beating... Here's what I have.

(2) Kicker zx2500.1's @ 1 ohm

(2) Audioque HD315's

(2) 130 amp alts

(1) 60 amp alt

(5) Optima Blue Tops

Alot of 2/0 and 1/0

Big box tuned somewhere around 31-33 hz

(1) Pioneer DEH-P5000UB

(1) Lap top (I run it with the headunit)

(4) JL 6.5" speakers

(2) JBL 6.5" speakers

(2) JL e200 amps

Whatever building materials blah blah blah

= One slow ass 1990 Honda Civic

*note: I need more money, when I have it I will be cleaning up the install, making a new battery box, carpeting (black) the box, tint etc

I metered it (not term lab) and its doing around 148 @ 40 hz, that was on the first day I got them in there though. I also broke the rear window clamps that hold the windows closed (they were moving an inch and a half lol) Now I have a nice piece of threaded rod between the windows and they dont really move.. :lol:

just to let you know the zx2500.1 does not runn at 1 ohm it is a 2 ohm stable amp b/c i got 1

if you know what you're doing and have good voltage (13+), it'll run @ 1 ohm.

I wouldn't run it below its rated ohm load it won't last...

Aaron it doesn't stall, the idle went down from aroud 800 to 600, so I just adjusted the idle speed back up.

Well I found the camera! I know the amps are 2 ohm stable, but I think my electrical is good enough to not have problems. I see lots of people run them at 1 without problems.
