Hertz_So_Good Posted June 17, 2015 Report Share Posted June 17, 2015 So I am trying to find a new alternator for my 2004 Nissan X-terra. Everything I find is over 600 dollars though. I simply cannot justify spending that much on an alternator. My current setup is not huge, as I am only running a sundown sae-1200d atm, and will soon be adding a small 4 channel for mids and highs. This is for my daily driver, and I will not be upgrading the system in it beyond what I already have. I have another vehicle for a balls to the wall build. reedal Posted June 17, 2015 Report Share Posted June 17, 2015 Look into an OEM with higher output from auto zone, advanced auto, Napa, or other auto parts stores. I'm sure there's one that outputs a little higher than what you have now. If not, then just add a battery in the rear close to your amp. Send Mike an e-mail, talk with the dude. He's a great guy. I worked a payment plan through him, and couldn't be happier.
