Still, nobody knows why the voltage drops.

The thing that's got me wondering is that you are having a problem when driving. If the alt is putting voltage when driving (assuming voltage is good and normal) Then I can't see why it would stall.

If the car was in my shop I would start looking at other things.

What kind of Acura we talking about here again. a TL? What year?

If it's worth building, it's worth over building.

You say it stalls when you're driving right? How do you know it's voltage dropping that is causing it to stall...? Just because it happened after you removed factory wiring doesn't necessarily mean it's voltage issue. Have you measured with a voltmeter or DMM from the time you put it in drive to the time it stalls out?

They think my dropping hz car audio battery terminals are pulling too many amps, lol. No amp is even hooked up in the car.

The eld will change voltage from 14.4 to 12.8 depending on its mood, I ended up getting an internally regulated alt with a 1 wire turn on for my honda. Yes I have a battery light but I'm also at 14.6/14.9 all day.
