It appears to be the original softparts.

not sure about that little mess up job by the decal on it.

But that is definitely a oem spider glue joint.

PS, it has torn spiders caused from over excursion.

Most likely due to the 7.5inch diameter spiders used or whatever size that landing is (i forget).

so recone now or play it till its dead?

With the way the spider is split you can probably play it as long as you dont try to find its limits, but you will definitely need a recone in the near future.

It will probably play fine for a while, of coarse that is depending on box size, power, and how low below box tuning you play.

Most likely the tear is just on the top spider or 2 out of the 4-5 spiders on the sub.

I say you ship the motor to Brian and have him build you a monster with the new sundown basket so you can use some big spiders.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
