Mitchaford
I've done about 5-6 recones so far but everytime I clean the basket I do it by hand. Scrape, sand, scrape, sand, wire brush, clean, repeat 100 times. It always takes super long I know that has to be a better way. I'm probably over gluing everything but it takes probably two-three hours worth of actual work to get it to my liking. I don't have a dremel Thats all I can think of that would be more efficient. 2008 VW Jetta Team Fi 12 CT 4000.1 CT 125.4 PWX 6.5 80 PRS EB Flex 2/0 Second Skin ^^^ Build ^^^

audiofanaticz
I use a chisel and a hammer to break loose the spiders and pull up as much as possible, and a razor blade to cut off as much surround as possible. After that right angle grinder with a 80grit flap disc to clean the basket down to aluminum. Usually takes about 10 minutes or so per basket.
