So if you happen to be reading the Singer story is still going on. Part one is that the spacer on the alternator was too large and Singer sent me some smaller spacers instead of me sending it back which I was cool with that. Singer then gave me detailed instructions to fix the pulley so it would line up with the belt. Even offered his number for assistance if i needed it. Put the alt on and damnit if the harness was too short to reach the alt. Now Singer will send me an extension for it so the Alternator Saga is to be cont. Mike is a helpful dude. Great customer service. I had the same issue on my plug when I installed my hairpin alt, but I just cut the wires and added like 8" of wire to extend the plug. xpoppadaddyx
Happy New Year to everyone. Here is the progress I've worked on. This is the front speaker I took out. Copied the shape on 1/2" wood and made a template on this plastic. Of course the template fit in the front door fine but what you are looking at is the rear door which didn't come with speakers. I used a thread set to make a .25 / 20 set so I could mount the template, ran wire, and put in sound deadner. Bring the front stage closer was a damn good ideal than keeping the speakers in the rear deck.
