Wow. A VERY noticeable increase in output. The forward facing port doesnt rattle the trunk as much too, so it sounds a lot better all around. Tuned to 34Hz. So very happy with the output now. Soon we'll get the impedance curve to see how it changed with the box and port increase. Took it back apart all ready. Time to glue a couple pieces and make it look nice. We rounded the back of the sub holes, but you really gotta massage all those dBs outta the box. The spots left undone are where the sub screws are located. werk werk werk Showing the afterthought add-on. This pic really shows off how much more volume and port we were able to add. Fuse and distro block Amp rack and box Strut action Here's me sitting on the box with the struts not even budging. They were too strong lol. We've since got some 80lb struts instead of these 100lb versions. Finally got the amp rack back in the jeep! Trimming the stock plastic and carpet where needed Mounting the bass knob using press nuts. Right into the plastic, no problem This is what happens when the can of clear goes bad (i guess the lid wasnt on tight or something). This lost us 2 days of time on the rebuild, so we decided not to rush it for Heat Wave. We were able to scrape it off with razor blades and a lot of sanding. More to come soon, I need to upload my pics off my phone.
