audiofanaticz
Its usually caused due to the weather stripping that holds tight against the window drying out and not holding a tight seal. You can usually replace those.

06RTCharger
Thats probably what it is for my situation, hopefully its that simple. Ill be searching for the correct ones for my charger later. Also still trying to figure out what kind of “umbrella” i could add to those door adapters i made. The stock adapters that housed the stock 6x9s also had an umbrella type portion on the adapter that covered and protected the speaker from falling water. Its like the knew it would leak lol. Correct, this is why your doors have small drain vents on the very bottom. Got to be careful not to sound deaden over them.

I usually google "MAKE MODEL parts diagram" to find parts for cars. These days, there's usually a diagram with the exact part I need (usually). Good luck man. I think you already saw the thread yesterday about the speaker baffle umbrella thing, so you should be good to go now. Let us know on your build log how it all works out! mothra
water passes through all door panels. some more than others because the people that designed the door thought it through during the design. this is why you don't see cardboard door cards anymore. it's all gone to plastics and metals. even when you see newer cars that have big holes in the panel to cut weight and cost, the OEM uses a vapor barrier to prevent water pooling up in spots on the door panel. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
