meade916
Two things you might never forget. Your first ride in a roller coaster and your first (above average) BASS demo. In fact, you will probably forget all about that trip to Disneyland 15 years ago but i bet you never forget the first time someone crushed you with subwoofers for the rest of your life. I CLEARLY remember my first encounter with an above average BASS monster in the early 80's. I remember the brand of the car, i remember the brand and size of the subs, i remember the amp that was powering it. Ive been here ever since. What was your first eye opening demo? The one you will never forget? 2 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! realflow100
I havent had one yet. but my subs do get decently loud enough to distort my ears especially if i try to talk over the bass it sounds like my voice is distorted from the bass wildly and it hurts my ears if i play it full volume at like 40 to 50hz two 12" subs in a cheap prefab box on only 200 watts RMS per subwoofer

BigSlick223
I wasn't even in the car. I was at a car show@ Cal Expo in Sacramento. It was a purple Caprice with no back seat bumping 15"or18" subs ,mids and hi's covering the doors and anywhere else there was room. All M&M "The Godfather". In the trunk, a sea of Hi Fonics amps being cooled by a oscillating fan. The track was Magic Mike "Feel the Bass". I was amazed...... and a bass head was born! Thirty years later and I'm adding more and more to my current build. Love it! Edited April 25, 2019 by BigSlick223 Typo

Second Skin
I've been loving BASS since the early 1990's at least. I have built a few 9My loudest was only 134.5 in 1996 and seen/felt a few awesome cars back in the day. But my most intense BASS experience and most rememberable one would be just last year at the Tucson Bass Bash from Philip S. And ironically it popped up in my memories on FB today, from a year ago. I was expecting an average150's type DEMO and got hit with a very strong 163-165 dB DEMO....It was awesome, after I regained my breath and my esophagus didn't collapse. ENJOY: My first 160+ DEMO in the SUBFari Van 1 Quote Whether you are restoring a classic muscle car, building an audio system monster, or trying to give yourself a bit of silent luxury on your daily commute, we have a product or combination of products that will help you achieve your goals while saving money and save time. SnowDrifter
This rig. Going from 2 10s on ~300w to 4 15s on a 7.5k was a change to say the least I had no idea what to expect. I figured it would just be like turning up the radio a bit more. NOPE. I had zero frame of reference for just what "loud" was. It threw me for a loop - feeling it in my chest, whole interior shaking, having it grab my throat, and the physical sensation of my eardrums flexing. 10/10 was a great time 1 Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
