But my best friend's parents separated when she was 5 or 6, and it still greatly affects her today. And we've been close for many years and I've been able to feel the pain. I understand that its nothing like what you're going through though. I'm sorry to hear about it. Its never a good thing when the kids have to get involved, but I get that its nessessary.
