Growing up in NYC I used to always see and hear cars with systems driving by. When i was in middle school i always idolized the guys on the block that had systems, so when I was old enough to have one I got one. Bought my first system at 14 and hooked it up in my dad's ride, got shocked prolli 20 times that afternoon.

I was maybe 8 or 9, and my Uncle took me and my cousins to a local show in Buffalo. There was a counter there with all kinds of amps, head units and speakers...then I saw this giant (or so I thought, I was only 8-9) Eclipse sub. I got the balls to ask the woman there how much it costs...I think she said something like $500 maybe? Either way, I wanted that sub.
