February 2010 SOTM Nominees - Stock Electrical Edition

Recommended Posts

Just to clarify is that Stock Alternator and 1 battery?

I think he means us cheap asses who can only afford a system and not all of the fancy stuff like new ho alt's and multiple batt's. Like me! But my car is neat I have a factory alt that outputs 14.6 with the big 3 but only like 90 amps

I will take a picture tonight to prove it.

I think everyone is asking the same question on batteries..

Can you say Stock electrical if you dont have a stock Manufacture battery? AC Delco (GM) or Motorcraft (Ford) or what ever Stock battery comes with a vehicle.

if you have lets say 1 battery under the hood like an XS3100 it would be better then a Stock battery + HC600

Maybe you should set a maximum AH rating on Battery/Batteries to be considered Stock.... Just a thought :pardon:
