My dogs are my world and only thing that really matter to me (other than my wife and family). I too sleep with my dogs in my bed and it will be a sad sad day not to see their eyes in the morning excited about going outside. I had to go through that once as a kid, but my dog has about 10 - 12more years ahead of her hopefully I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes.
