  2. He had some old, gold "colored" terminals, probably cost .50 cents....probably got charged $50.00. It's ok, i got him on this one. Much cleaner and now, it is actually PROPER and FUNCTIONAL. Alternator / Engine grounded to frame.... and then sent back up to the battery. Used a SkyHigh fuse block - basic, simple, gets the job done! Just ordered 4 more today for the back! Got the SkyHigh Fuse holder in that is it for today...i need more fuses for the rear of the car and i am out. Ordered up more, should be here tomorrow! thanks for checkin in!

  3. where to get started....ok you know me, you know i solder almost EVERYTHING. It's fun to solder but it sucks to do it when the wire is already installed. Sometimes you have to do this because the wire is trimmed to exact fitment. Rockford Fosgate 1/0 Ring Terminals Solder up! I am a chief, but i have no indians. The vice grip is my helper today. Fully wicked....almost feels like there is a metal bar for an inch past the terminal. SOLID! Soldering OUTSIDE of the car, on the bench, is much easier. In my box of goodies, i found these....Moke SCORES again LOL

  5. I have been following this build and was wondering if there was any way I could help, I love seeing people help their buddies out, maybe I can help too. I see that rear deck and I just see a gold mine of how we can show your subscribers (and mine) the correct way that those beauty panels could have been made. Below you will see a rough idea what I was thinking. The lower wood panel would be secured to the deck, nice and solid, through the two insert panels that are to the left and the right. These insert panels would have grill fabric secured to them from behind that would then hide these fasteners. The main insert in the center would also have grill fabric affixed to it that would hide the port. All of the inserts would be molded into the bottom board with body filler formed up to the outsides. Also note that the inside of all of the inserts are chamfered for a nice looking appearance. So here is the deal, I have been following you for awhile, and have loved learning from you, maybe this is the chance to pay you back, I know you have this build under control, but I could tell at the end of the one video that its taking a lot of your valuable time to get your buddy all set, and I know how it can be doing stuff for friends for free. So if you want I would love to help you guys out. If I can get the rough dimensions off that deck, the cut out, and how far the cut out is from the rear glass and sides, I would love to fab these pieces up for you and ship it to you, I’ll take care all of the body filler etc, and do the prep work so that all you gotta do is wrap with your choice of fabric, and the mold the sides of the bottom piece to the edges of the vehicle. If you want we could even make it over sized so that you could cut it down to match once you have it in house. Either way I know you have seen my videos, so you know its going to look good! It would also be an interesting topic as “YouTubers” to collaborate together on. Let me know what you think bro! Mark

  9. I paid like 125 shipped for it, mainly because I don't have the patience to sit there and solder. Plus I'm gna be doing a lot of connections so for me its worth it. Ask around though someone near you might have a crimper
