  1. Check out the newest product i am about to bring to the people. Totally sun activated. You need zero catalyst and this works directly out of the container. Picture almost zero waste, never too "hot" never mixed to "cold". It saturates like a high quality resin should. You work inside the shop and it never sets up UNTIL you bring it in the sunshine. Then you have about 1 minute, 2 tops. I am still waiting on my 1qt and 1 gallon containers, they are all on the way. edit: it is available now! click here >> http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-install-tools-electronics/fabrication/smd-sunflash-uv-activated-resin.html oh, and this label is the one we made up for the 1qt can's....i stuck it on the drum to see how it is going to look when i get my NEXT one. They labels are all about to be printed too at the printers. how did this happen? i used this stuff on the entire Lexus build, now the Honda and of course a few things in between. I loved it so much i called the manufacturer and asked if i could re-sell it but under my own name. They almost INSISTED on it since they don't want a bunch of people calling them. It isn't primarily used for car audio. oh, you can get UV lights that work just as good as the sun, for those times you can't bring the project outside. more info soon!

  2. I don't glass that often the fact that he said he leaves his brushes and stuff sitting for two weeks... So if you get it on your skin or arm** hair or clothes ... Could you cover it. Run inside and wash? If so.. this is the best thing ever. Seriously

  4. In your particular prototype the Z coil fits with no issue; I made a 10" prototype with a Z coil -- the production units are a bit tighter on the top plate ID so they would actually need a different coil to work without worrying about clearance (the Z coil would still fit but it would be tight). I'll have a slightly modified coil very similar to the Z coil for X series "SPL" re-cones down the line; originally I intended to them to interchange but the X gap worked better a bit tighter with production coils. So once all the parts are in stock, yes, you could do that.

  5. i havent fiberglassed yet but will be in need of doing my doors. my question are mostly the same as others but was wondering if maybe you would sell something like starter kits. a kit that comes with say a gallon of resin, brushes, cups, body filler, and sand paper? that way its a one stop shop deal. get everything you need to do the job in 1 order. as far as uv lights for curing it, go to home depot or lowes and you can get uv light from there for indoor gardening and hang 1 or 2 in your garage. brush the resin on flip the switch got eat come back and do the next layer. flip the switch check smd forum and repeat until project is done.
