  2. Swapped decks to the 80prs so it was time to retune the amps. The last time I dialed in my system was a LONG time ago using my velleman hps10 and autosound 2000 disc. After seeing the dd1 go head to head with some super fancy scopes I knew that if I ever changed decks I would get one. Tuning with the DD-1 was as easy as it looked in the videos. I followed the manual and got the max undistorted volume of 60/62 on the prs (standard mode). Went to the mids/highs amp and dialed it in. Went to the woofers amp and dialed in. I probably spent more time looking for the prs remote then I did setting everything up. All in all I was impressed with the DD-1 and I'm glad I got it. So from a first time user, just wanted to say that this thing is boss. Good job!.

  5. I had one a while back and did my levels, but I had let it go and since then I have made a few changes to the system so I needed one again... So i agree with the "you'll only use it once" to be BS also... That and I have a few folks down here that I will be helping to set there stuff up... Good news for me... Just scored a DD1 and CC1 last night for a great price...

  6. Just a slight update. I have a LOT of wires to cut, strip and put terminals on...it's a video in itself just doing the terminals haha....but i have had people ask me how to do it and since i am using my new crimper, i thought i would show how while updating at the same time Ill have more soon but getting started is getting started!

  8. Shoot I only plan to run 3400-3800rns total and have just about the same setup. 250amp singer alt, upgraded battery, 1 extra in the back and I'll be running an external regulator to get away from the pcm. If voltage stays above 13v I'll be happy. If not I'm adding batts until it does. I'll have 2 runs pos and maybe do neg runs maybe not. imo you said you only have one run of neg and pos front to back. Your running close to 5krms. Your exceeding what the wire can handle. Do at least one more run of pos. Neg if you want and since you already have a neg run why nit another. Then see what voltage is like. Should gain a little. if your still dropping either do an external regulator or the mla modular. And add some batts.
