Lost one of my drones today... we were in a hurry to test it out and never got the HD camera to work. It flew in someone's backyard . Next time it would be a good idea to write phone # on it and make sure camera works so you know where it crashed

My car is so loud with rear speakers
-
My XP3000 is sitting in the corner collecting dust. Omg I need 1/0 OFC WIRE
-
Need to start a thread on dual 12" subwoofers suggestions for the DC 5k soon
-
Next Project: Get my windows tinted, bolt down XP3000 in spare tire area, finish that last positive run. After all of this, I have nothing else to do but wait for the DC 270A, DC5K, DC XL M2's

Put my Ctek charger onto my battery backwards last night ~_~ Should be fine right? Ctek has "reverse polarity" protection?
-
Rear speaker fill is nice if you listen to trance music, but if you listen to rap, the bass pretty much drowns it.

Retuning my DC5K (removing the Harrison SSF and using amp built in SSF). Should I use Linkwitz-Riley Borbutterworth for setting the Filter? Thoughts?

What frequency were you taking that reading at?
-
Yes it can make a difference. Also the -5 tone make s a difference vs the -10
-
@SnowDrifter I was using the 40Hz @-5dB from SMD DD-1 cd.
My original tune settings was 40Hz @ 0dB for tuning which essentially was only feeding around 2000W when I played the -5dB tone to see what the difference were.

Sealed off my cabin fire subs with Second Skin Audio deadening. So much more SPL just by sealing all the gaps!
-
Since I can't fit all 4 runs of 1/0 through the left side of car, I'm thinking about putting two of the 1/0 runs through the middle with my RCA's + Speakerwire+remote wire. Thoughts?

I suppost you could try it, and then if it does create alt whine then you can move it.
-
If you have higher quality RCAs I doubt there will be a issue. But I always run them separate. Don't want to take a chance lol.
-
Thanks for the advice. I'll just run 2x positive on the left driver side and 2x ground through the middle with the rca's and other stuff.

SMD site lagging or just me?

If you get the add (non supporting member) it can take a while to load. I pay the extra, just for that reason. Cant stand the ads.

I was getting some weird cloudfare message yesterday and it tried to load a cached offline version of the site
-
no issue here

That Nail Polish smell... weird clamp results... DC Audio subs not sounding loud like it should... It all makes sense now.

Either a bad amp... Or coils :/
-
or too cold.. my subs are not DC by the way but every morning it takes a bit warming up to start sounding good. they dont get loud and sound weird but after a few minutes they start to hit hard like in summer time
-
I've just finished switching the subs to fire towards the rear. I'm going for a test drive to see how this turns out.
I can't believe it took 1 hr 30 minutes to get the subs into the box. The original screw holes I had were going in all sorts of direction making it hard to screw the 55lb+ sub in the box ><
