    unless this thing can effectively replace a headunit with say.. digitial inputs from things like carputers and iDevices/jump drives with a dedicated volume knob of it's own, i can't see myself investing in it. Very nice addition to the market regardless though. I'm sure a lot of people will be able to benefit from it.

    "too small of a sealed box" ? uhh.. that thing only needs like 2.5-3 cubes sealed. and can function in 5 cubes ported.. just saying.

    sd of 155 with a port area of 152.. sounds good to me, but i'd try to find that extra 3 square inches for the port. Other then that, design is solid, move the sub to the end as mentioned and roll with it.

    locally.. don't know anyone i can go to to ask. On the forum, i've gotten help from audiofanaticz, n8ball, ray. I feel honored (and maybe concided) in thinking my knowledge is on par or at least close to theirs, and just wish i had their experience to back it up (especially ray's)

    Kinda missed the black on black part.. too long didn't read at first.. My philosphy is this, if you get a "kid" looking vehicle, it's already been driven by a "kid" . catch my drift? get a black truck, and change the other parts out to black on your own. no paint needed, just easy to buy accessories.

    try checking the output of your amp with the dd-1 again with the subs still hooked up. I never did get why they say to unhook your subs to test it, your subs load the amp, the amp draws power, the voltage drops, then the clip ceiling falls and boom. what was once clean with no load is now clipped to shit.

    I completely disagree with this statement ... Then don't pull it out of context. "IF you have room for another set of 6.5's.." << i can agree with that. If you have room for a bigger speaker, for the price point and sound difference, get the 6.5's

    Sounds like you bottomed her out. Play it till the increased friction causes it to blow anyways, or go ahead and recone it, a recone is roughly $80+ shipping. glue kit from AQ is $25. Learned this from experience.. Don't try to call whales before a new box design has been proven lol. Proof: edit: ^^ yes that still played for the ride home from the show.
