i have a pair of dual 4 SA12s for sale, if interested send me a PM

If your not too experience I'd say stick to the RMS rating, +/- 200w or so. 1500w is normally perfect for a pair for entry level setups. A lot of people I know have had great results from a 2500w amp (saz2500d for instance) but I wouldn't do that unless you atleast had a DD-1 to make sure your signal is pure and clean. But IMO if you grabbed something a long the lines of a saz1500d you'd be set

im right down the road, sorta bout 25-30min away i got a few good friends in the area, such as goatskindreams from youtube as for shops, you have dynamic sound and security right off george street by lowes and shit, the ultimate edge which is about 1 mile out of the city on 104, those are your close ones, theres a shop in fulton (avoid fulton if you possibly can!!!) and a shop called installations unlimited (i work at) in north syracuse bout 30min down 481

Try a single 6" aero for SA12s of your limited on space with 8-10" of port for the aero. The aero box I did was 4.5@35hz with a single 6 and it destroyed lows -

Still gonna be closer to the small side, never had any luck with My smaller boxes on even more power, my 2 best were 4 cubes and 4.5 cubes, both on my 3500 in daily applications. Only recommended smaller applications for SPL, which you would also be needing a higher tuning (40+) -

That's actually on the small side, specs for SA 12s are 1.75-2.25, sometimes even 3.5 is a little small as they like larger boxes up to about 4-4.5 cubes. Little much on the port area too, generally around 12 is best -
2 lvl 4s on saz 3k?
BeAlLsTaR13 replied to baaudio's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
I assumed 12s for some reason, even with lvl 5 coils it's still gonna be a bit much on power for those subs with that amp @ .5 -

thats gonna be on the large size for a box especially on that power... the subs most likely wont take it, no more than 3 cubes after displacments is needed on that power. -
you wont be getting a 10-12 cube box (before any displacments) in and out of your vehicle for that single sub lol especially being a trunk car, gonna have to most likely be built in side, and it wont be coming out so my vote is a wall with 2 18s

the 21 by far, considering a single 18 has 28" more cone area than a pair of 12s... to find the exact cone area just do the math.... cone area = pi x (r x r) pi = 3.14 r = radius of sub
