  1. dinosaur is the ishhh, ichiban alright, gone there too much so it gets old lol
  2. i have a pair of dual 4 SA12s for sale, if interested send me a PM
  3. If your not too experience I'd say stick to the RMS rating, +/- 200w or so. 1500w is normally perfect for a pair for entry level setups. A lot of people I know have had great results from a 2500w amp (saz2500d for instance) but I wouldn't do that unless you atleast had a DD-1 to make sure your signal is pure and clean. But IMO if you grabbed something a long the lines of a saz1500d you'd be set
  4. im right down the road, sorta bout 25-30min away i got a few good friends in the area, such as goatskindreams from youtube as for shops, you have dynamic sound and security right off george street by lowes and shit, the ultimate edge which is about 1 mile out of the city on 104, those are your close ones, theres a shop in fulton (avoid fulton if you possibly can!!!) and a shop called installations unlimited (i work at) in north syracuse bout 30min down 481
  5. Try a single 6" aero for SA12s of your limited on space with 8-10" of port for the aero. The aero box I did was 4.5@35hz with a single 6 and it destroyed lows
  6. Still gonna be closer to the small side, never had any luck with My smaller boxes on even more power, my 2 best were 4 cubes and 4.5 cubes, both on my 3500 in daily applications. Only recommended smaller applications for SPL, which you would also be needing a higher tuning (40+)
  7. That's actually on the small side, specs for SA 12s are 1.75-2.25, sometimes even 3.5 is a little small as they like larger boxes up to about 4-4.5 cubes. Little much on the port area too, generally around 12 is best
  8. Dont forget the warranty period! 3yrs?! What other battery on the market is warrantied that long
  9. arnt you like a mod over on his forum?? Or like a top poster or some shit? no mod, just used the site, doesnt mean i like him lol... besides, he banned me there cause i called him a dumbass, ON THIS FORUM lulz. so thats how i know he lurks this forum lol
  10. JP always lurked the site anyways, so his name being on here isnt much different, still a feg IMO
  11. id look into this one: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_20758_AutoPage-C3-RS915-LCD-C3-RS915LCD.html more options, same one i have
  12. I assumed 12s for some reason, even with lvl 5 coils it's still gonna be a bit much on power for those subs with that amp @ .5
  13. thats gonna be on the large size for a box especially on that power... the subs most likely wont take it, no more than 3 cubes after displacments is needed on that power.
  14. you wont be getting a 10-12 cube box (before any displacments) in and out of your vehicle for that single sub lol especially being a trunk car, gonna have to most likely be built in side, and it wont be coming out so my vote is a wall with 2 18s
  15. the 21 by far, considering a single 18 has 28" more cone area than a pair of 12s... to find the exact cone area just do the math.... cone area = pi x (r x r) pi = 3.14 r = radius of sub
  16. It's actually on the smaller side, they'll generally work best in the 2cube per range
  17. are you sure they are wired correctly? It could just also be a loading issue having the 2 4" aeros, that or they aren't getting enough power, turn the gain up for a quick second or so to see if they appear to move more
  18. http://www.woofersetc.com/p-9260-sa-12-d4-sundown-audio-12-600w-dual-4-ohm-sa-series-subwoofer.aspx
  19. deffinatly taking one of those 125.4s! how will price look compared to the current 100.4 model? cant wait for that 3500 v2
  20. Can't exactly design a box yet if you don't know what subs lol
  21. 3-3.5 cubes is ideal for quite a lot of 15s from what i've seen, dont know many 15s that take 5-6 cubes though even the sundown 18s are good down to 4 cubes, it's just how their built but IMO, i'd go closer to 14 cubes after displacments so each sees 3.5 cubes, just to add on to your low end a bit
  22. you don't need be firing into the cabin sealed off to do 150s in a trunk, a guy I competed with had 2 AQ 12s firing back on 5k doing a 151 sealed, Anton miller isn't sealed, Hea doing 50s on 1.8kw CLAMPPED, I'm on my way to 149 atm firing back
