  1. Lol my bad Kylar, but I had to scoop it up! Lol
  2. As much as it hurts stretch it out and keep it moving. Gotta get all the lactic acid out of there.
  3. damn talk about port! lol shit looks nice bro!
  4. I reversed the pos and neg on my crunch amp. Shit as soon as I touched the pos wire to the terminal (Already had the ground hooked up) there was sparks flying. And I quickly removed the wire being fucking scared. But not realizing I was doing it wrong I tried again and again until a fuse popped. Gave up. Looked at it. Realized I was trying to switch them lol. Worked flawlessly tho. Also I had my ground burned up and ripped out of place. So I basically was running no ground for the amp for a few weeks before I sold it lol. Still worked flawlessly
  5. yeah i just wanted to see if anyone had them used for a little cheaper, looks like there isn't much tho lol hells yeah! lol pm'd
  6. Looking to get a 10" chaos D1 the new model Lets see if anyone has them available
  7. your 18 and a jr?! anyways volunteering at a shop might be the key, plus summer classes
  8. Mine is pretty much the same a 3200. Adjusting by hz? Thats a filter and would only affect your sub stage if you have your sub rcas connected to your rear out on the deck. Sub level is the rca output. The max you can go on yours is 6, right? Well, it should be at 6 or all the way up when you set your gains, everything other than that should be flat. Also, "loudness" should be off. The hz is just the normal 8 band eq settings where you adjust sliders. My bass can go to +15. Edit: yes my rcas are connected straight to the HU, I don't necessarily like EQ's unless they're on the much better quality side Personally I set the radio/eq how I like it then I dd-1. For example in a mustang I set the gains for he is on stock speakers but aftermarket HU and amp and substage. Max he can turn his volume before the door speakers sound distorted is 28. So we dd-1'd the amp to 28 even tho the radio could go to 40 w/o distortion. I have done this as well!
  9. this is true. but i think a wall in a SUV is a little different then 2 10 in a trunk. I guess all I'm trying to say is that the subs are absolute garbage like the others are saying here is his build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/82004-kicker-trunk-build-2-10s1502dbs/
  10. pretty sure you didn't Lol i thought thats what Mario B had in his trunk before the rebuild. And i thought he broke the 50 mark
  11. Pretty sure I saw 2 10" solo X in a trunk doing a 150.... Just saying
  12. CCA is not bad and will not cause and ill side effects. it would be best to have 0 gauge tho. also you can use cca wire for everyting, you just might have to double up on the runs if your pulling more than 250 amps
  13. anything from mechman, dc power, singer, ohio also there is a guy selling 2 12 Fi Q's on here. Probably cheaper than new
  14. honestly i think the guy just wants something loud and clear. He doesnt know what true SQ is if he just got into car audio. Therefore i dont think hes looking for real SQ i bet hes just looking for better than stock... Honestly i'd say 1000 is a pretty decent budget for a good little sound system. The only thing i think thats going to kill the budget if he has to get an alt.
  15. You gonna hook all 4 subs up on this amp? And have them in the same box? Edit: just saw the or. Well it depends on what the ohm on the subs are. You say Sony is DVC but is it 4, 2, or 1? Same for the kenwood... SVC 4, 2, 1?
  16. Excellent seller. Great communication. Ships out quickly and the item was as described. Would definitely buy from again, Thanks again for the wire bro
  17. yeah 6k would be slightly brighter cuz its not as blue. also if you do a lot of night driving the bluer the light, the more fatigue you put in your eyes
  18. The higher the number the bluer the color. 4300k is suppose to be the brightest and cleanest white. Anything above that will have a hint of blue. Also 35 watt and 55 watt ballast will also play a part in color. 55 watts is suppose to be brighter. But may be less reliable although I hear they are getting better. And as far as sites DDM tunning is very popular. Also The retrofit source store is a great place to buy from. Plus it is always best to use hid in a projected housing. Not the halogen housing
  19. bump. i'll pay for half shipping
  20. its not that the loc is the problem, but from my understanding if the loc is putting out 5 volts and the HU is only putting out 2, then the loc should be louder if the gain is the same. you have to tune the gain on the amp since there is different input voltage edit: damn ninjas
