  1. i was thinking that someone should make the a new DSP for everyone to use for car audio. alpine won't talk to me about it. and I'm looking for someone to step up. and build the best DSP in the world. hi my name is rob simon and I’m opening a business to sell car audio. and like to buy and use car audio too. all the DSP’s in the world are no way near as nice a what i want a DSP to do. and i am coming to you guy for some help with a new DSP. the PXA-H800 is getting old and its time to retire it for good. and make a hole new DSP with some of the old fetchers as the PXA-H800, but bigger EQ's and more EQ’s and more Adventist filters and the list goes on.i have looked at other DSP on the market and i think they can’t be put the fetchers somewhat together and new stuff on the DSP to make one kick ass unit with all the DSPs in the market are obsolete for years now and some have built new products that came out this year were obsolete before they were designed. I’m also in to Ground Zero Audio and Morel Audio. as well as Alpine and i like 3 way component sets with out a crossovers so the 3 speakers would have 3 channels of outputs on the DSPs in link mode for the amplifiers to hook too. its good with pro audio speakers with 6-way speaker set up hex-a-amp or hex-a-wire with 8 channels of 6 DSPs in link mode you will have 48 pre-out outputs more then a naff outputs. i will be using the E3iO windows 10 based double din computer in the dash. WIFI audio streaming and DSP controlling from IOS/Android/Window/Mac XOS USB Computer link for Windows and MAC optical Toslink inputs and output for audio playback and link mode DSP link mode to link up DSPs for more outputs low level 3 sets RCAs inputs 8v 8 outputs RCAs in 1 DSP fresques respuons 5hz to 25khz crossover: off/on / Low pass/ high pass/ band pass, selectable on each channel 5HZ to 25KHZ -6db/-12db/-24db/-32db/-46db/-64db parametric EQ 52 band 5HZ to 25KHZ on main and each channel graphic EQ 52 band 5HZ to 25KHZ on main and each channel DTS 5.1 Dolby Digital 5.1 Dolby Pro Logic 2 Imprint with mic audio zoning front rear side to side optional RUX-C800 type updated display Bi-Phantom function High Res audio (DQA format) subwoofer VOL and Xover off/on for sub’s surround sound/mono/stereo on/off for any channels and mapped out on Alpine’s apps as surround subs. main subs no surround sound for the DSP more fetchers like the h701 and h800

  14. I have a 01 GMC Yukon and was planning to install a sound system but can't make up my mind. What would be your preferences from subs to amp including required accessories for your dream sound system.
  15. So, here is my situation. I was rewiring my amp to run some leds off the subwoffer output, but being a dumb ass, i wired the left and right channels of my 2 channel sub amp up to the front and hooked them together parallel to one side of a switch. Shortly after my amp stopped working. It gets power, I can tell because the vanity lighting is on, but the amp inst putting out anything to the subs. Plus the power indicator light wont come on. Does anyone know what might have happened before i rip the amp out and apart looking for problems? Thanks in advance.
  16. We are looking for a motivated individual interested in a full-time long-term career at a well established business. Please email applications to Ben Lizardo at [email protected] or call 916-429-2293
  17. Hi everyone, I have been searching for quite a while to try to find some information on the best makes and models of cars and SUV's for car audio. I currently am running two JL Audio 12W3v3's powered by a Alpine MRV-M500 in a 98 Buick Century. I also have pioneer 3-ways in the front doors and Rockford Fosgate Prime 6x9's in the back as being powered through a standard $100 JVC headunit. Its nothing to blow your socks off but definitely packs a pretty good punch and I am happy with the setup. I am in the market for a new car and am wanting to know if anyone has any input on what is a good list of solid cars (American preferably) for aftermarket car audio systems. My idea of good would be easiness and simplicity of working on, structurally reliable, and audio quality. Now I am no audio expert but I do know that all systems sound different in different cars, even with the same exact equipment. I am planning on keeping the setup I have, as far as the subs and amp, in whatever car I purchase. Down the road, I will eventually upgrade to something bigger, more around the 1000-1500 RMS range and want something that I can "grow into" if you will. If anyone can give me insight on the topic, I would greatly appreciate it.
  18. I was running a 1000w amp with 2 12's with a capacitor, but ive upgraded to a power acoustik 2700w amp. Do I need to buy bigger wires or invest in a power cell or is my capacitor enough for the amp?
  19. Hey everybody. Within the next year I'm looking to put a system in my 2000 Chevy Tahoe. I originally planned on doing two Rockford Fosgate T2 12s and a T2500. Well i have been looking around quite a lot and I've become interested in Sundown Audio. Does anyone have any reviews on their x12 dual 2 subwoofer and the SAZ-5000D Amplifier? Also my budget is about 700-900 for subwoofers, and somewhere under the 2,000 range for the amp. So all suggestions are appreciated and taken seriously. But i would like to go with anything above 2500 watts. Any other Companies i should be taking seriously, companies with good pricing? (rockford seems to charge a lot just for their name) P.s Again, if you have any other ideas, please feel free to post them Thankyou, Jon
  20. hello i have a in home audio setup that involves nothing but car audio and i have some questions since i can not figure it out . about amps ;;;;;;;;; question 1 amps . at the moment i am using a 500w monoblock alpine on a 15'' kicker and a 600 watt xplod 4 channel to power 2 8'' hifoics tritons 300w rms and 2 10'' jl audio 10w3v2 200w rmssubs and tweeters n soo on . the deck is a dual 50w 2 eq setup with subwoofer controls ii also have a 20 eq pre amp between everything to balance bass / voice is this an ok setup for a home setup ? about capacitors / chargers ;;;;;;;;;; my current power supplies are 2 computer power supplies one puts out [email protected] and the other puts out [email protected] and they run to a diode that has 2 inputs 1 output soo they dont cross feed into each other they click off without that diode between them ... and they put out a nasty buzz at times when im playing and the buzz ... not in radio interface noise u dont hear any distortion when the radio plays it comes from the power supplies them selves question 2 are capacitors needed since i dont use car alternators .. i was thinking about making a custom capacitor with over 10k farad basically ima buy a bunch of 2.7vdc 3000 farad capacitors is this ok ? since nothing is generating high amps for what i need ? question 3 power supply im not shure what can put out more then 100 amps without using a car battery charger that is noisy i found http://www.amazon.com/POWERMAX-PM3-100-CONVERTER-CHARGER-AUTOMATIC/dp/B008B13NIQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1389808889&sr=8-5&keywords=switching+power+supply+12v+80+amp but idk how this will work or if since it is a bettery charger will it be noisy ? and will it put out more then 12v since it is a car battery charger. about box configuration ;;;;;;;; question 4 box size my 15'' kicker single coil cvr 500w rms they dont sell this subwoofer no more but it can play the box it is in is roughly 37 inches tall 17 '' wide and deep . with a port it catches 15 hz and shakes my whole house and is tuned to 15 hz to 103 hz the jl audio10w3v2 subs use a box thats 12 tall 12 wide and 12 deep with a t line port and they catch the higher bass and and are tuned to 40 to 100hz the hifonics 8's are in a 12 by 12 by 12 box sealed with a 90hz bass blocker tuned to 93 hz to 20k hz what ever it catches and i have these television tweeters . nice little speakers they handle everything i throw at it this is alot to take in and might not make since but i tried my best to describe my question
