Now that's handsome looking That spring compressor though. That does not bring back any good memories LOL. I'm not exactly close to you but if you have a strut you want me to throw a different spring on I have access to a legit wall mounted compressor that won't shoot a spring in your face.

Not problems at all, only issue is you cannot over tighten the screws that hold it on or it will crack.

Out of curiosity... With those big arse rotors, when it comes maintenance time... Can you even turn those? Or rather, find a place with a lathe than can turn those? Or do you bolt new rotors on the hat?

What timing... Talking about fusing the alternator wire in that one thread and a car rolls into work on a tow truck. Shorted out rectifier

Current goes both ways
Under the charging stud is a series of diodes, this is your rectifier. If a diode shorts out or otherwise loses it's ability to act as a one way valve of sorts, it would behave as you disconnected the charge wire and stuck it to the alt casing
