  1. Shared the video on facebook and twitter Been wanting to try this stuff for the longest time. How far does a gallon go? I want it like 1/2 inch thick on my front doors. LOL Im sick of breaking stuff inside them.
  2. Ive used my DD-1 and DD-1+ on a few NVX amps before, not dont recall the models but never had an issue. Almost sounds like you have your ssf turned to high up or your lpf turned to low and your blocking out the 40hz signal Actually never came across an amp they didnt work on.
  3. Just made some dank popcorn. It really hit the spot with all its salty buttery crisp popped corn after the coors light!

  4. Damn that was quick, I guess those things you where talking about are all in order? Is my care package of samples on the way already?
  5. You can find belts of all lengths online. You will most likely need to look at the Gates "fleet" brand belts (which are green in color) and cut off 2 ribs to make it a 6rib like your factory belt. People do it all the time when the normal automotive belts are too short.
  6. On many amps, we repair them BETTER than new. If they are repaired properly, most amps should not be any more prone to blowing. I second that. If its a legit repair facility, or a guy doing it correct. Then they should be just as strong. So if 1 out of say 16 mosfets blows in the power supply, all 16 mosfets should be changed with new ones that have a matching date code and batch number and so on. Replacing just what is broken/blown can lead to a failure sooner than later.
  7. When you buy B-stock/refurbished amps from them it takes 7-10 days because they need to fix the amp prior to shipping it. Why they are not fixed and ready to go is due to them always being heavily busy fixing a variety of amps for other customers (besides the companies that they deal with direct). So it doesnt make them money to fix amps ahead of time and sit on the repaired amps waiting for someone to buy them when they can fix them in a timely manner after someone has purchased one. DB-r is Sundowns Authorized repair facility and has been for many years, they wont take your money and run.
  8. How I guessed dead on the money.. RIGGED Congrats Poorfish PS: maybe I just need to change my name to Poorfanaticz, and I will win everything! LOL jk
  9. Exactly why I posted my guess of the actual numbers as sarcasm. Im guessing they havent seen the video yet.
  10. Dont care about the guesses, but I do admire that there is another company that is not using the same ol cookie cutter pc-boards!!
  11. You selling just raw wire with no big 3 kit? Got a friends truck to rewire soon and are looking at better wiring options.
  12. This status update has reached the maximum number of replies allowed. What a shame. I guess after 100 replies thats all folks :(

  13. That is mostly due to the different frequencies being played and why you use a 1khz tone for mids and highs and a 40hz tone for low. If it is a 4channel amp and you want to set it accurate as possible I think the instructions say something about playing both tracks and then using the lower of the 2 for the max headunit volume or something like that. Also it is very frequent that you will see a difference in max volume between your sub output and your front/rear outputs. Same goes for the headunit amplifier if your using that, and the rca preouts.
  14. I believe there are instructions on how to find the max volume of the head unit through the amp on the next page or two in the manual if my instructions are not clear enough. I think the main issue you are running into is with the radio preout voltages. JVC says it is 2 volts, but how they get 2volts is not how others get 2 volts. Each rca pre output is 1 volt, so you have 1 volt for your left channel and 1 volt for your right channel. Add them together and you have 2 volts.. This seems to be how some companies are advertising the pro output voltage now days it seems (not all but some). While other companies that advertise 2volts would have 2 volts at the left output and 2 volts at the right output. Sure you could total that up for a 4volt output, but realistically its a 2volt output. How JVC maybe doing it is to make it sound like the radio is better than it actually is. If it said 1volt rca pre outputs people may over look it and not buy it due to that fact, so they add the 2 ouputs together and say its 2 volts. Marketing..... So anyways now that I said that, the dd-1 will only work on a radio with 1.2volts of output power or more. If the JVC is only putting out 1volt of output per rca that would explain why you cant get a signal to pop up, its not enough to trigger the dd-1. So finding the max radio volume through the amplifier should work, with the gain all the way down that output voltage should be amplified enough to trigger the dd-1 signal light.
  15. Im assuming your trying to tune it thought the RCA cables. Make sure that any sort of crossover setting on the radio is turned off! If there is a high pass filter setting turn on and its set for 80hz, and your trying to use a 40hz track, that 40hz track will be very weak, and most likely not register on the dd-1 Sometimes if you are using the left channel of the radio rca output and you get no signal then try using the right channel rca, or vice versa. Try hooking the amp back up to the radio, unhook the speakers from the amp, and turn the gain all the way down on the amp. Hook the dd-1 up to the amp as if you are tuning the amp, but use a 0db track and use it for the maximum radio volume setting. Once you found that, start turning up the gain on the amp at your desired track such as -5 or -10 db and set your amplifier gain.
  16. Getting ready to post another box creation from me, get your notebooks ready! lulz

  17. Ordered a new mouse, I guess it has less input lag than a wired mouse, and some of the best tracking. Hopefully I dont regret it. LOL

  18. Just went to look at a STV RiverRocket hull and trailer. I so want to pull the trigger but it needs lots of transom work. Lots of little stress cracks in the gelcoat and even larger cracks where the jackplate was mounted. I need to stay away from this moneypit but I so want it. Maybe I will find a semi local Laser LTV in somewhat better condition!!
