  1. you can buy the expansion packs for $15.00 each from the origin store, but your normally cheaper off buying the whole premium game for $49, Or sometimes bestbuy has it on special for $39, then with premium you should have first access to the new expansion once its released, before non premium users can get it i guess. I actually have 2 copies, because I just bought the regular addition too, and I needed premium, so it was bought again LOL Whats even better is knifing him right in the face when he is capturing a flag looking right at you, and then here him bitching only to tell him it was you. LOL
  2. Yea, we all play Premium. A lot better maps, and if your a premium player your inline to get the next upgrade which comes out soon at no cost to you iirc
  3. So who all plays this game???? Steve and I seem to play almost nightly for a couple hours. A couple other members join us occasionally (nightsniper, and djiceman). I just started playing about a month ago, but am a avid FPS gamer so I picked up on it quick, also played the original battlefield, so at times it seems when Steve and I join a server we normally rape face and are the top scored players, but yet we dont take it to seriously even tho we both like to win. Just the other day we joined a server and it was 544 tickets to our losing 70 tickets, and we turned the game around and won with only 3 remaining tickets. So it be nice if we can get some more PC BF3 gamers in voice chat and in our Platoon [DBB] Death by BASS http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/platoon/2832655391863604088/ Also it be nice to have a mic or a headset with a mic that way we can really get the games on lockdown

  5. No matter what your going to have some voltage drop, unless you can produce more amperage then your stereo and vehicle needs to run at max load via a high amperage alternator, however you will need reserve and thats where the battery will come into play. Before buying a D3100, I would suggust looking at its dimensions and be sure it will fit under your hood. Its a rather large battery. The d3100 is a good battery, way more then you need for a 1500 watt amp, so it should do the job you need done well. Doing the big 3 upgrade will help a little bit, but not much since Im assuming your running a stock alternator, which is probably about 105amps, and the factory cable used can support that amperage load without a doubt, so upgrading the charge wire from your alternator to your battery wont make the alternator make any more power.
  6. damn this makes a few things on the want list now, and 1 that has been discontinued... If only I wasnt going on a small vacation, but shall be a much needed and super fun time
  7. For the NeoPro 6.5s freq response is about 60hz to 4,000-5,000hz, they really drop off after 6,000 hz which anyways most tweeters are already playing in that frequancy. So if you have a tweeter such as a "Pro Audio" style super tweeter like say Seleniums that dont like to play to low in the midrange the neopro line will match up great with them. The 60hz frequency is tested in an open freeair style application (as if it was in your door), If you build sealed fiberglass pods for the neopro drivers they will play a little lower and be safe doing it (but you must also take in the power your throwing at them). This line of speakers where made to be like a OEM door speaker where it is played in a open door that is not sealed, they will play much lower then your other types of "Pro Audio" speakers (again selenium, they lack midbass something fierce), not the case with the neopros when they are even used in a freeair application. The 8inch neopros are asked to be crossed over at 70hz, both the 6.5s and 8s have a 2inch voice coil, same suspension and power handling, while the 10inch neopros use a 2.5inch voice coil and a slightly higher rms rating due to the larger coil. Personally I would run the neopro speakers and whatever tweeters you chose to be ran active like others have said. So that means a 4channel amp would run 1 neopro per channel on 1 and 2, and 1 tweeter per channel on 3 and 4. Of coarse you could wire 2 speakers or tweeters per channel if you wanted to lower the impedance a little bit. Here are some Neopro 8s and a pair of slenium st-400 tweeter I played around with powered by a sundown 100.4D ran active. IIRC I had channels 1 & 2 bridge to the mids at 4ohms (2ohms per channel), and the same for 3 & 4 powering the tweeters to get more power out of the amp instead of wiring the amp at 8ohms per channel since all speakers and tweeters are 8ohms. So the amp was doing ruffly 320watts per set of bridged channels, or 160watts rms per speaker. So you know the neopros are strong! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCwiuBZlLBU Here is the response graphs from sundown for the neopros
  8. I got the other sytle hat, needless to say I like the old logo a tad better, but I never wear it because its not a fitted hat, so this hat has that going for it. Also the back logo needs to stay, unless you ditched it and went with the website there again instead. Just an idea.
  9. a 02 impala is a group 78 battery, is a little bit shorter then a group 34, which the d3400 is, but it should fit just fine in the opening, the only problem you may run into is having to use a different method to secure it down because the stock method might not work. But the D3400 would be your best choice for a replacement you wont find a better fitting XS Power battery in that location.
  10. most SUVs and older cars yes. Its a pretty neutral sized battery with a lot of power.
  11. I was thinking the same thing, so that what makes me keep mine or Id look a fool probably. LOL
  12. Yes, you can if the amp allows you to run it bandpass (not familar with the AQ), but if it is, then this tool can. At about 7:50 in my video I show how to do it only I was using a sundown 100.4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9Z57r1NsEI
  13. damn that is a slick setup!!! your going to miss her steve!! hhahahaha
  14. man that is 1 huge looking sub!! Glad you guys are pushing the envelope with these new woofers! do I see a tape like handle on the dustcap in those build up pic? I sure love that trick if it is, so much easier! something I always wondered Jacob is what does your youtube name "arawndark" mean? Im not sure if its ever been asked or not.
  15. Wish I had some spare cash right now to pick up them 2 dual 2 12s, swap them out for my SA-12s on my saz4500 and see how they handle compared to them. gahh I hate Christmas season!! BA-HUMBUG! Guess anyways a bump for some great deals!
  16. Computer is taking shape. I like that case, looks like it has excellent cable management!!
  17. Them are some nice screens you got!! I love samsung monitors myself. Im have a 60inch Samsung plasma in my living room, and had a old samsung 22inch lcd on my rig (now I got a 25inch Asus LED screen). Cant go wrong with Asus either for cards, mobos, or screens. EVGA is my first pick for cards, but at times it seems like other companies might offer better performance so you gotta do what you gotta do, or buy what is available. Either way its going to be a SICK computer!!
  18. people tend not to understand such simple statements or think logical at times. ;(
  19. Yo Steve, you should use Windows 3.1 I think I may have half a copy left on floppy disc somewhere. I'll dig them out and ship them off
