Hey guys, new on the forum, veteran of good sound. However, I am learning how achieve that in car audio. The Massive Audio BP6000.1 is CTA-2006 compliant, yet it's rated at <2.5% THD. Is this a good amp?

CTA-2006 is way outdated. I honestly didn't know it was still a thing.
Also they broke the CTA-2006 compliance with putting the peak rating. facepalm*

Been running my DC Audio 2x 12" XLM2's on DC 5K for 8 years full tilt every time I drive my car. The system is still running strong with no signs of problems. I'm very impressed with the quality of the DC Audio products.

My condolences, hope you can get it up and playing again. Did you figure out what happened to cause it, or do you think just abuse throughout the years?

help me make up my mind! i have A DEAF BONCE DB3 15 in a trunkc build in my 2011 impala an i have about 2k before rise on it give or take, an im in the market for a amplifier, i want deaf bonce, crescendo, DC AUDIO, or really the best abng for the buck but i cant seem to make up my mind money isnt an issue but i dont want to over pay

do some looking i suggest trying to find a 2.5k amp with a very good 4 ohm rating if you are concerned with box rise. It 'should' give you a better frequency response overall. I say 'should' since some cabins are peaky in response to certain frequencies.

has a 305 but its very healthy for what it is would love to swap a 400 small block blue print engine in but i see prices are up $3k since the last time i checked
i also heard only some 305 weren't very powerful but idk how far i would throw somethings around anymore
seeing how 287 cubic inch v8 can make over 1 thousand horsepower

i didn't look close enough either 305 or 350 it has snort but only 39,000 it has sat around a lot spent 4 years at auction. then someone bought it and it sat since 96. it has enough power for me but needs better tires it kept spinning

Just got some new tires
Michelin defender ltx with nitrogen rides way better-
tires deflate one pound a month please don't buy into that scam unless you are on the coast then it will help with corrosion
btw i almost bought the same tires a couple years ago great tire imo

Anyone know where the fuel line leads go after they leave the filter and go to the engine on a 2002 tahoe? i think my lines may be clogged and i cant jack up my truck to find the lead and if i can just figure out where it comes out to the engine it would be a big help

driver's side of the fuel rail what sucks is you will have to have the o-rings as well cause they will shrink as soon as they hit air

check your fuel pressure regulator on the rail
they have a small screen on them that could be clogged up with debris that and these models had issues with them

right and its sucks cause some of this stuff shows up at my work i go to look up the part, and obsolete sometimes i can get it through other dealers (10% price increase) aftermarket is sometimes forgiving and has something that works and sometimes it doesn't have anything. :/ gotta say though i used to be big on chevy but after working here i must say v8 chevy or ford will last a long time with proper maintenance

When it rain it pours huh ? . Thankful my daughter is alive. But my truck of 19 year was my baby was totaled by a 18 wheeler running her off the road and kept trucking. A total lost . Back to zero .Guess I'm posting because I'm a big cry baby.
