Or you can just impress them by being louder with less cone area. Nothing like beating your uncles 4 12s with a single 15, or your buddies 6 15s all crammed into a shit trunk lol... You can pick up 4 Kicker CVRs 12s for around $300 on Vminnovations.com

Honest question, who that posted suggestions has actually had experience with their suggested woofer? OP, you mention your enclosure for two 10s is 8cubes, is that before or after displacements? Seems to be extremely large for two 10s. How much port area, and what is it tuned to? A simple rebuild on your enclosure may put you past your buddy, and will not cost you much.

Aw what, that's how you do eet lol.

Nice little collection! I only have me two DD1010s and a DD1508, both of which are in family members vehicles lol. Been on the lookout for some F motors to build into 10s.

From my limited experience and research on DD equipment, that does seem like an H motor. Sexy subwoofer by the way! Love me some 95 series woofers!

Paypal Problems?
Supercharged DCs replied to CaPRiCEx383's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
At least you can get that far lol. My account has been limited for some unknown reason, and I cannot transfer the money from it into my bank account, nor make purchases online. I'm not a fan of paypal at the moment... -

What vehicle do you have? Have you upgraded your big 3 wiring, alternator, or battery? -
1. Get some measurements for the space available, and we can work from there. 2. What music do you listen to? I enjoy a 35hz tuning personally, but everyone (and there vehicle) is different. 3. Though I'm not sure of the exact definition, it's basically resistance. You need to match up your subwoofer to the desired load of your amp to get the full power out of it. If you have a D2ohm woofer, you can wire to 1ohm or 4ohm. With a D4ohm woofer you can wire to 2ohm or 8ohm. Single Voice Coil woofers, like an S4ohm woofer, can be wired to their respective load. 4. You need to find out what impedance your subwoofer is. Look for a label on the woofer or product box, or take a DMM to the coil.

Going from a single DD3515sc to two DC Lv5 18s, only 2kw to both setups, I didn't really notice a huge difference, even though I tripled the cone area. The 3515 was moving much more, and in my honest opinion seemed to move more air than my 18s, which were barely moving on only 1kw before rise a piece. So aside from the other random variables, it seems the excursion of the woofer would also play a part in that 3db increase. But I don't know much, so I can't really say if it was just my experience or whatever.

I love my DD1508.

You can find a used DD3500 woofer for that price, probably my favorite subwoofer I've had.

So this is why you needed two badass subwoofers I built from the inside, wasn't too hard for my first time. -
