There's just more wires coming from the unit. Got a few A/V in's and out's, Kenwood Ipod adapter cord. Other than that, nothing else coming off of the unit except for the wiring harness which has the standard speaker wires, power, ground, illumination, and remote wires. Just make sure you pull the radio/accessory fuse before installing, or disconnect the ground cable.

I'd like to retract my opinion about 8ga to the subs.... Well, edit my opinion really... Use NO SMALLER than 8ga. If the terminals don't accept 8ga, get better subs or rip that shit off and go with direct leads. Other than that, use the biggest wire that will fit.

12 for the highs. 12 or 10 for the mids. 8 for the subs.

How to properly find a spot to ground a wire to. Or how to sand down paint, and bolt the ground wire in that location securely. A lot.... A LOT...of people say that their grounding location is awesome and it secure and ran fine, but when they post pics, it looks like a nice, factory painted, flimsy ass panel lol

It looks like interior spiderweb cracks.... Only way to fix it without getting a new one is to take the entire housing out and separate the assembly and do a crack repair with the same type of stuff they use to repair/fill windshield cracks and chips. You either have to carefully separate it by hand without cracking it more, or check around on the car forums and see if anyone has taken them apart. I would assume it would be the same way as taking headlights apart, which is to find the melting point of the adhesive, throwing it in the oven, and separating it. If all else fails, check ebay for a cheap OEM replacement. It's gonna be a shit tone cheaper than the dealership.
