    No. They stay cold. also. 13.8 for all last year is far from overcharging. They still did it. The truck charges mid 14's and they still do it. I don't think it's from overcharging. It's not that loud. You hear it when you shut the truck off or unhook the charger. When you near them.

    Is it normal for your batteries to have a smell? I have a D2700 and 2 XP3000's in my rear bank and when I open the hatch it smells funny. Like a sweet smell. They have done this last year in my car also. The car only charged at 13.8v. They also make faint chirping/gurgling sounds when they are being charged. Did it in the car also. Just curious. They do not get warm at all. Charging in the 14's in the truck. The D3400 under the hood does none of that. Weird.

    Steve I'm assuming you missed this on the last page. Just want to get an answer before I pay more for shipping then the meter. nothing i can do about the crazy shipping to canada. Its the taxes and duties and other fee's that get you. I don't set the pricing, it is all calculated at check out. I know it sucks! Yep, You will just have to deal with it and blame the country. Canada customs can be a PITA for duties + taxes and other ridiculous fees. Sometimes it would be cheaper for me to drive 300 miles to the border to pick something up than pay the added shipping fees.

    I'm not to fond of the new Battlefields either really. Bad company 2 was great and then they come out with just BF3 and to me BC2 was better. They act like BF3 is worthy of being the predecessor of BF2 when BF2 was a legend. They add some maps from BF2 and they are not even the whole damn maps. Only part of them. smh.

    I always try every new COD. Especially the first on a new console. I give it a chance. IMO the only good "recent" cods for multiplayer are Cod 4 and WaW. I hated how they added so much extra BS in the multiplayer after WaW. Gun on Gun and 3,5 and 7 killstreaks is all they needed and BO2's story sucked. I liked the stories except BO2 killed it for me.

    There you go. Just answered your own question. The gain does not have to be high for the amp to do it's rated power. You are likely fine at 1/4 as that's where it matches up.

    All I am saying is the gain in not a set level. It is to match your RCA output voltage. If you have low voltage the gain would need to be a bit higher to compensate. etc.

    Yeah but that don't matter. It will clip at a different point depending on your setup. HU, RCA's and line voltage. My Nendo 3500's clipped at 65% gain in my old build now they clip at half.

    A lot of amps will do this. My old 2100's and new 3500's all do this but not quite that extreme. If the DD-1 or scope shows distortion, the amp will hum and still hum a bit below that level. IIRC there was some sort of parts in the amp that make the noise and it is perfectly fine. I'm no expert though. Maybe someone from DC will chime in.

      sitting in park idling. been at idle for over 5 mins before it did it. I was leaning in the back which is why it sounded loud.
