  1. What are your driving habits? What speeds do you drive in the city and on the interstate? How often do you check your tire pressure?
  2. Holy shit!! That audio shop ripped you off big time! I think you paid more than the MSRP. I'd pay $130 for everything on Craigslist. I'm sure you could find someone to pay >$150.
  3. Do you look @ the Customer Images for the amazon listing? "Lanzar 0awg top Stinger 4awg bottom " Does not look like it would meet AWG standards for 0 gauge.
  4. For the both the DEH-P880PRS and DEH-P800PRS you need an external CD-UB100 adapter to use a USB drive. For the IPod/IPhone you need the CD-IB100II. This is from reading the instruction manuals and looking @ pics.
  5. I just looked up the DEH-P880PRS and from the pictures and description it did not have a copper chassis. The DEH-P800PRS did have a copper chassis.
  6. What model number Type R? There have been 4 generation, I believe, of Alpine Type Rs; each with different specs. The cheapest I've seen the newer models (SWR-1243D) are $100 on Ebay. The older models $60 used. Just have to wait and jump on 'em when you seen them.
  7. Was trying to firgure out if open air or close headphone would be best for your application. Open-air are the best sound IMO, but external noises (like people talking) can be heard and people around you can hear what you are listen too. Open Sennhiser HD595 @ $150 Grado SR225i are right @ the $200 mark. Closed Audio Technica ATH-A900 @ $180
  8. What will this headphone be used for and where ? For trips on airplanes, just in home use, connected to a computer, etc??
  9. Give the USB port another try. You might have to turn on the AUX mode or IPod mode. Check the manual. If it still doesn't work, get rid of the BOSS and buy another H/U that has Ipod/Iphone support. I had a new Boss H/U, MP3-3080R, back in 2003 that I paid $100 and only lasted three months before totally shitting itself out and the manufacture didn't honor the 1-year warranty.
  10. Define decent condition ?
  11. Have you ever listened to the changes from the line out port vs. 3.5mm jack? The diffence in quality is huge IMO. If you have a Iphone/Ipod, I'd strongly urge you to get a H/U or cable that supports the line out. When you plug in through the line out, volume on the IPhone is disabled and everything is controlled through the H/U
  12. I looked @ the inmate roster and I couldn't find anyone with the name "Darshaun". Possibly bonded out already?
  13. After you file a claim with Paypal, the seller has a certain amount of time to respond; 3-7 days. If the seller doesn't respond or does not produce a delivery confirmatiom #/tracking #, you'll get a refund.
  14. The last time I shipped something to Canada from the states through USPS, it took 3 weeks. Do you know if he used USPS or UPS ?
  15. From the comments section: "Greatest DIY ever. Check back in another 9 months to see him turn his Delorian into a time machine. :}"
  16. Went to the Paypal forums and found this from a moderator. "Is this hold going to be implemented to all eBay sellers?" "That is a fair question, so I'll do my best to provide an answer: Yes and no Conceivably, all eBay accounts could have holds placed on payments. We periodically review all of our accounts and make a determination on whether holds will continue or be lifted. Just because holds exist now doesn't mean they will continue. And visa versa. So I would be very surprised if at any time every eBay seller had holds. It's more of a dynamic process where some merchants will have holds, then they'll be removed, while other sellers will suddenly have holds placed. Rinse and repeat. I hope that clears it up somewhat. Andy" https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/eBay-and-PayPal/ANSWER-to-SHIPPING-FUNDS-RELEASE-via-asking-PAYPAL-ANDY/td-p/296576
  17. What happened to prompt this hold? Was there a refund issued? A problem with another buyer or seller? I have only seen Paypal put holds on accounts when there has been some suspicious activity or complaint/complaints from other users. They just don't put holds on on random transactions. Read their end-user agreement. Paypal will also cancel transactions and close accounts where moneys have been used to pay for firearms.
  18. Read the manual ? I use a lot of Alpines. The menus are always confusing until I read the manual. I always learn something and the head unit becomes easier to use.
  19. I've been seeing them used $165-$225 on CACO and caraudio.com.
