Ive seen the og mayhems take a ton. Here is one of 15 rigs i knew of in the day running mayhems (all the og mayhems) Tims blazer. 4 18" mayhems on 2 9k tfhes at .35 (yes, .35)  Tim played that thing all fucking weekend. Never had a issue, and these where Rays old subs he beat on for years.

I think the AB line, is a damn fine line. And for the price, yip. But, .... for just a lil more, you can have a true monster. I LOVED my OG mayhems. Loved em. The newer ones are even more rad, and i can get those things cheap as shit. Again, no hate on AB. But,... when you find out and know,.... you know.

And, the sp4s greg ran, as well as I, where the V1's. Not even the v2's dude. I fucking LOVED my sp4's. Spaced spider, internal leads, no FOAD leads. And never had a thermal issue what so ever. And, i pounded on those relentlessly ... Not stupid, .. just "used them" the way there designed to be used.  Good luck. Do you have a build log goin? Link me. I did mention,  when i added a lot of power,  i gained nothing Well, Almost nothing. Nothing that was worth the extra board, and heat i made. This is where i shoulda played with the vent and enclosure. Instead of just tossing power at em...So, i through in what ive experienced. STILL !!!  I never got the coil smelly, nor lost anything thermally. (Lead,  coil, anything, thermal,.. in 4 plus seasons of the hardest DB drag divisions ther are.

Also, . I know greg well. Real well. Hes a fellow Fi team mate of mine. I was probably at the show your talking about in that doof JPs vid. As he moved up in power he moved to the omegas. But,.. i know gregs build well.  7k plus,for burp easy,.., and a WAY EASY 5k on music daily, CLAMPED,.. After fucking around, i settled where i settled, and it was a SOLID 4k plus, CLAMPED, on music,,, all day,,, erryday. Playing 22hz to 46 strong as fuck.... Got them hot as fuck? hell yes, after 6 hours of beating, and competitng on em in a day, and they still did me solid for seasons. Hell, i acutally liked them better from a DIRECT swap to TEAMS.

. I know the sp4 can take more than your claiming. Period 

More than a few of us, clamped 5k plus, all day on our sp4s,.. mine lasted 4 years, and sold them working. Weird. Greg corbing only put around 7k daily to his..... weird odd.

Tim's blazer some years ago at autorama,., Kevin flickling, if ya know of him getting a demo while I drink and record. He had a pair of Ampere audio tfhe 9.0s on the 4 18s in a flat tuned to negative 11. Played 17hz all day, ,.. was bulletproof reliable. He never once had a issue with any driver, and he bought them fella used from Ray, (has a way loud burban, his name is like AAHOE on here) that ran em for seasons. Hope you did th
